Birthday Girl

Happy birthday to Alyssa!
She is 4 years old!!!!

I took her to Del Taco after preschool for lunch and she loved playing
on the playground and making friends with the other kids that were there.
I let her play extra long!
Look at that Darling Girl!
Afterward we went to Walmart and picked out her cake,
the lady at the bakery gave Alyssa a bunch of Princess rings
for free. We got ice cream cones from McDonald's too!

The Cake

For her birthday dinner she wanted Chuck E Cheese
(she's been wanted to go there since she was about 2 1/2 and we finally took her)
She loved it! The show that Chuck E and his friends
put on was a big hit!

the rides were a big hit as well.

Haha! Love it. Clint decided to take a ride with Alyssa.

Back at home for cake and presents.

All she asked for was a "little piano"
and she knew as she opened what it was...watch the video
video

She loves it!

Kevin came to celebrate Alyssa's birthday. He gave Alyssa all
the tickets he earned at Chuck E Cheese so she could pick out some
cool little prizes, he also gave her a little bear for her present.

We love our little Alyssa!
She keeps us laughing!
Lately, she says to me "Mom, we are two girls."
And then she will give me a big hug.
She is so sweet and gives hugs randomly throughout the day.
She is a stinker too... We will ask her not to do something and she
says she won't and later we find out that she did anyway.
We are so glad that she helps make us a family.
She says "we're a family" every time we
do a group hug...and she loves those! haha!

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

Santa's Arrival...and Pirates?

Santa arrived in a fire station at the South Towne Mall today.
They had a small parade with music and store/restaurant mascots dancing around.
We stood right next to him and he touched Alyssa's cheek and said "hello, little one."
How cool is that!
I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it...I was holding Alyssa so she could see better.
I did get to take this picture of him! Pretty good shot!

They had a free breakfast afterward.
A pancake from Village Inn with nothing to put on it (weird, haha), yummy chicken nuggets
with biscuits from Chick-fil-A and Windor Dairy chocolate milk.
It was good except the no syrup or butter for the pancake part.
yum, yum.
Clint was so sweet and decided to take Alyssa on the carousel.
She appreciated it :)

Last Saturday we went to Pirate Island for Braden and Coden's birthdays.
We hadn't been there before and soon found we, especially Alyssa loved it!

Here are the kids, with only some of the them looking at the camera. Silly kids.

Can you see the skeleton in the background? I hope, its kind of dark though.

We got to play arcade games after.

Dove Product Presenter

I did a 4 day Dove promotion at the Lehi Costco!
I had to work all alone. All the other events I have worked I got to work with
other people which is way more fun!
Here I am with my setup...where I stood for 6 hours all 4 days!

When I took the job I didn't know I was suppose to sale the Dove products!
That put a damper on things when I found out.
And I didn't get my "script" product info until I had only 1 and 1/2 days to memorize it.

Then they tell me that I will be secret shopped! And if I'm not talking to people and not selling
they won't invite me to come back!!!! I freaked out!
Here I am with a customer.
Dove wanted me to take these pictures and send the pics to them after the event.

The first day I was miserable! My on-site manager didn't know hardly anything and was way to busy for me...usually the on-site contact tells me more info when I get there. And I kept thinking to myself "why did I get myself into this?!!!" And to top if off I found out 2 days into it that I hadn't been signing the right log-in and that it might delay my pay or worse!!! Luckily, I think we figured it out!

I was like a Walmart greeter...saying hello to almost everyone that passed me by. So lovely! haha. One lady I said "hi" to 3 times (people all start looking the same after awhile).

All in all, I did a lot better than I thought I would. I actually sold stuff each day. Some days more than others though. And I got to catch up with old friends who happened to be there and stopped to chat with me. Lani, (my mother-in-law) happened to be there one day and she didn't know I was gonna be there. My Dad and Adri came and visited me! So fun!

Even though the funnest part of the whole thing was talking to friends, setting up and taking down the table and anticipating the end of each day I'm glad I did it cause I'm gonna get paid really good for it, hahaha!

Halloween Night

I had to work on Halloween and I didn't get home until about 5:30 pm. I hurried and made my spicy White Chicken Chili which is now a tradition (surprisingly...we don't usually do traditions).

After we ate we hurried and got our costumes on (well after I finished making part of Alyssa's costumes) and went trick-or-treating!

Here is my little lady bug!!!

Last year we only went to 4 houses....NOT THIS YEAR. We went to about 3 neighborhoods. It was so fun and Alyssa really, really loved it! She didn't even want to stop to go use the bathroom, because she needed to (we took her potty and went back out to trick or treat). At first she was shy about it...we had two of her cousins come, Libby and Tanner, they helped her warm up to the idea and soon she was running from house to house!
Look at all that candy that Clint and I are helping her eat!!! HAHAHA!

I guess I was a bug fairy (for Alyssa's sake) and my job is to watch over and care for the bugs such as this adorable lady bug.
Oh my gosh! Clint is wearing a Halloween shirt!!! Now that is progress!!!!!
After we got home and put Alyssa to bed Clint and I almost polished off all the chili...which was a bad idea! Clint reacts to the stuff instantly!!!! I was frightened!!!

My 24th birthday!

My sisters and mom took me to dinner the night before my birthday. Some of us also got free makeovers at Urban Trends (they now do free girls nights every Tuesday, you can sign up for it at the store). I also went to biz meeting with Heather before and we also did a little bit of shopping after.
We laughed our heads off and watched a scary movie with treats in the car! We are so cool! On my way home I discovered that part of my radio got stolen!!! It happened when I went to dinner and left my car at the mall. So sad! I miss my music!

On my birthday! October 21st. Lunch at Paradise cafe with Clint and Alyssa.
I picked up McKenna and Darci and we went to my Moms house so I could teach all the girls
the Hannah Montana line dance "The Hoedown Throw Down"
Alyssa was putting stickers on Darci's face...she took it really well.

Here we are rocking out!

Clint took me on a date for my birthday.
We ate at Iggys! It was soo good!! See below...
We got frozen yogurt at Red Mango....it's the very best ever!!!!
Then we went and saw a scary movie! I love scary movies!!!
Don't we look so cute!!!
I love you Clint. He surprised me with strawberry milk, an almond bar and a sweet letter when I got up that morning! It was one of the best birthdays ever!!!
