Tangled/Princess Party

Alyssa is turning Six!
We planned her party the weekend before her actual birthday since her day was during the week. This is her second friend birthday party. I was looking forward to this for a long time!
Alyssa wanted a tangled party. I did some google research for Tangled birthday ideas and the parties I found were AMAZING! Here is my Natalie "ugly" version. :D ha ha!
I really am proud of my work! :)

Ok, this was the best pic I got of the long "hair."
See the castle? Rapunzel's braided hair is coming out of the top tower and is draped over the TV and fireplace and hanging off the edge. It was a lot of work braiding that and it isn't even perfect! None the less, I LOVE IT!!!!!
The girls are coloring Tangled pictures.

The upside down balloons are my version of the lanterns from the movie. Fun, fun!

Cake and goodie bag table...notice the little braid hanging on the side.
I think I'm so creative. ;)
And this was the center piece on one of the tables. Love!

After coloring we ate pizza! I went for easy instead of making it a Tangled or princess meal.
Decorating crowns!
P.S. I had Tangled playing in the background.
Finished result...
Pin the crown on Rapunzel!
Relay race!
The race included: braiding Rapunzel's hair (what you see in the pic), keeping "Pascal" on the "frying pan" while walking across the room, and walking with a book on the head or learning to walk like a princess. I think the kids enjoyed it.

AND a PINATA!!!!
One more game- tug of war with Rapunzel's hair!
Pulling hard!
Holding on for dear life!
Very fun!

Cake time!
I decorated the cake. Simple yet does the job. I love how the hair turned out!
Time for presents!
Some of the kids faces look messed up, oh well.

Alyssa loved her party and that her friends could come! She got great gifts and we are so grateful! It was a lot of fun (and stressful) for me! I'm so happy that we could do this!!!
